EYFS & KS1 · Ages 3–7
A strong start makes a difference
The first years of school are about building confidence as well as learning new skills. Children need to feel comfortable having a go, talking about their ideas and making mistakes along the way.
Our Early Years and KS1 teachers use stories, talk, games and carefully chosen activities to support phonics, early reading, writing and number understanding. We adapt sessions to the child’s age and attention span and keep parents informed about what we are working on.
